Quick Links to My Favorite Wedding Venues
As a wedding videographer based in Orlando, FL, every venue brings something unique to the story I’m capturing — the atmosphere, the backdrop, the way the light hits at golden hour. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of filming at some truly incredible places, but a few always stand out in my mind. Today, I’m excited to share a few of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at and why they hold a special place in my heart (and in my camera roll!).
Located in the charming town of Lake Helen, Granville Farms is a dream come true for anyone who loves rustic elegance. The moment you step onto the property, you’re surrounded by towering oaks, rolling fields, and the most beautiful barn I’ve ever seen. What I love most about filming here as a wedding videographer is how effortlessly the venue balances a laid-back country feel with upscale touches. Every corner — from the ceremony lawn to the cozy firepit areas — creates an opportunity for stunning, story-driven footage.

Bridle Oaks in DeLand feels like stepping into a fairytale. With its mix of barn charm, beautiful greenery, and whimsical ceremony spaces, it’s perfect for couples who want a blend of rustic and romantic. As a videographer, I appreciate the variety here — I can capture intimate vows under the oak trees, laughter during the reception in the barn, and quiet moments of just the couple wandering the gardens. Bridle Oaks is especially magical at sunset, when the whole property is bathed in warm, golden light.

Tucked away in Winter Park, The Garden Villa feels like a secret garden come to life. With stunning flowers, lush greenery, and elegant courtyards, this venue offers an incredibly romantic atmosphere that’s perfect for capturing timeless wedding films. I love filming here because it feels both intimate and grand at the same time — a peaceful, private space with so many beautiful corners for candid moments and creative shots. Plus, the pops of color from the gardens create a gorgeous backdrop for ceremonies, first looks, and sunset portraits.

The Estate at the Halifax offers something that few venues can match — incredible versatility. From the historic tavern house to the lush gardens and lakeside ceremony sites, every part of the property is cinematic. I love how couples can truly make the space their own, and no two weddings here ever feel the same. Whether we’re filming a lively outdoor dance party under the string lights or a quiet first look by the pond, the Estate never fails to deliver unforgettable scenes.

If you’re a fan of historic charm, Venue 1902 in Sanford will steal your heart — it certainly stole mine. Set in a beautifully restored old schoolhouse, the venue offers a perfect blend of vintage details and modern sophistication. High ceilings and original hardwood floors create a warm, inviting setting that looks incredible on film.
